The Shaw family has a name known throughout Valdosta, Georgia and beyond, and for good reason. With a history of family owned and operated companies, the Shaws built businesses upon the same Christian beliefs that their family is built upon.
From that foundation, in 2003, Firm Foundation Custom Construction, LLC was born. Brothers Trevor and Derek Shaw joined together in order to build the foundation of a better future for their community by constructing custom homes.
From 2003 to 2008, it became apparent that their customers’ needs encompassed more than simply new construction projects. Additions, remodeling, disaster renovations, and commercial projects were frequently requested, so the Shaw brothers adapted. Upon obtaining their General Contractors license in 2008, they were able to even better serve a wider variety of the needs of their growing number of clients.
Yet prior to and since that change, the core ideals of the company remained the same: they earned the trust of thousands through their integrity and quality of work. Whether in their business, their church, their families, or their communities, the Shaws have cultivated a business, and a name, that can be trusted.
